Traveling Thru is Different Than Staying for a While

"If you look like your passport photo, you're too ill to travel." ............Will Kommen

"Like all great travelers, I have seen more than I remember; and I remember more than I have seen." ............Benjamin Disraeli

"Not all those who wander are lost" ...........J.R.R. Tolkien, Lord of the Rings

"Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not." ...............Ralph Waldo Emerson

"The traveler sees what he sees, the tourist sees what he has come to see." ......Gilbert K.
Chesterton

""If an ass goes travelling he will not come home a horse." Thomas Fuller

"never trust the first two people who walk up with smiles to greet you."....... Ralph Chamberlain
(So far, I can vouch, he was right about that one.)

I got my Apartment key. Now comes the great 'furnishing' adventure. I can go to a large store of ready-made goods at premium prices. Having looked at the ultra-modern decor. Chairs like a hand, tv units in six pieces including wall hangings. Bright stripes, or shades of lavendar, rose and purple couches. (each piece different) just isn't my style. There is one place that has reproductions of antiques...but I'm not sure I want that either. I just want homey, plain, comfy, light. I can have things made, from cane to rosewood. (That takes time.) I can go to the warehouse of the owner, I am told.. to get some basics until I can get my own. (hafta find out) It's not boring, that's for sure. First, it has to be scrubbed clean. Going thru the channels involved, that should commence tomorrow. I worry because I reported to them in an email list, that there was a small geyser in one of the bathrooms. That was...three days ago.
