True Colors

I have come to the realization that you can't put what you really see, feel and think, in a blog. I guess you could if you didn't care about all the repercussions on the people you mention. On company secrets, or your personal privacy. You can only sketch an outline with words.

Firstly, I don't think I see like most people. I have bandied about the word "respect", but you know what? I decided I DO respect people until they prove it's unwarranted. I don't see people as classified. Not by class or wealth or color. When they act like idiots and fools, however, it just becomes apparent they have a shortcoming or two.

I take exception to people, whom, when I invite them to dinner, call the waiters and cooks "These People". As in, "These People don't understand efficiency". "These people have to be told everything to do". "These People aren't capable of ... whatever." People who are rude, and demanding, and cruel in their observations. Out loud. and these people..... back home.... don't have the clout to polish the shoes of some of the people they are calling "These People".

Sure you can't. A diary is something different, but a blog that's read by many can't contain explicit comments on privacy or the way to look at life an individual has. But beauty, ugliness and way of living in general is always appreciated by readers. Landscapes, buildings, to sum up, "facts" not opinions is a different question. +++
