"T-t-t-trip a t-trip, I trip, trip, I couldn't keep up if I tried" (Donovan song.)

It's busy here. The phone people... cleaner people, fixer people. And the Supervisors and Inspectors of all the other people (tromping thru my apartment). and that's not counting the people who count your dishes, and the-come-to-see-if-you-are-happy-here people. Oh, and the laundry people. and the food people.

Out in the field they are having a huge Z TV convention. It's swank, with chair drapes and two colors of tablecloths on the tables (cream satin and kelly green silk over) and chefs standing by huge cauldrons of food. Today it goes again, it seems. Last night there were dancers and singers on the huge stage. You could watch the happenings on the TV. Very professional, and Bollywood was mentioned. I can hear it all. :)

Usually, there are weddings, childrens parties, anniversaries or conventions, several times a week, especially weekends. Music and food and gaiety. The rooms vibrate with the booming, or drumming. They do shut it down by midnight though. sometimes, sooner.

And all the while alongside this high end convening...the ant workers slog thru the day, building the pools by hand, working in street clothes and flipflops or barefeet. working with hand tools and buckets, wheelbarrows and trowels. And the gardeners (old fashioned push mowers), and the waiters and chair putters and cleaners ( all in uniforms). Supervisors in suits weave thru-out, keeping it all orderly. It's a marvel. beyond them all is the peaceful lake, the only clean body, unit, stream of water I have seen. no visible trash. I have been appalled at the garbage in the water and on the open places. sooo harsh. and in a place so needful of water. I'm not sure how they manage to keep this lake clean. People sometimes wade and search for something in it. Plants? then they bathe. (the females stay clothed to bathe. The males do not)
I often wonder about the Goddess awareness. Does it not extend to reverence for the ordinary feminine? to freedom from shame of body and spirit? Perhaps it's a conscious, modest choice to remain covered and not compelled? Just because one gender enjoys a certain freedom, does not follow that the other would also. .. but is it allowed?

Our apartment will be ready... sometime around the fifteenth. We agreed to keep on the Nepalese maid who doesn't speak English or Hindi. Should be interesting. She will live in her own quarters, beyond the kitchen. I did not have the heart to kick her out. I figured, I can let her go later if it doesnt work. She is said to be a hard worker and "communicates well with hand signals" and body language) :D ... ... ... . ... yes indeedy. Voltaire would approve, I think.

It's really hard trying to write thoughts benign enough to publish here, and really say something.
